A jury trial has been rescheduled again for a Riverside man facing multiple felony charges of sexual assault, incest, and lascivious acts with children. The trial of 51-year old Jason Bex was set for December 16th at the Washington County Courthouse, after previously being scheduled for October 28th and earlier on August 26th. A pretrial conference will now be held on February 12th.
Bex was arrested in May and bond was set at $1 million. The Riverside man is charged with five counts of sexual abuse in the second degree, a class B felony; five counts of lascivious acts with a child, a class C felony; and five counts of incest, a class D felony. Court records allege Bex committed at least five separate offenses of sexual abuse with a victim under 14-years old over a span of three years.
He was already listed on the sex offender registry for four counts of assault with intent to commit sexual abuse from 2012.
