The Highland Community School District has been awarded a grant of $43,657 from the Washington County Riverboat Foundation.
This grant will fund improvements to the high school media center. This project will include adding new seating, tables, and study areas to the media center. These improvements will support independent work, group collaboration, and staff instruction. Not only will this upgrade elevate the learning environment for students, but it will also benefit staff, as this space hosts many meetings and professional learning opportunities.
Since 2006 WCRF has awarded over $76 million to local communities and non-profit organizations.
