Now that the Christmas holiday is complete, the City of Washington is helping residents dispose of their live trees. 

The City has set up a Christmas tree drop off area on the southeast corner of Central Park. It is available through Friday, January 9th. Residents can put their trees on the street corners opposite of fire hydrants to be picked up on January 5th through January 9th.

Residents can also haul their trees out to the Waste Water Treatment Plant brush pile site located at 1065 West Buchanan Street. Residents are reminded not to drop off artificial trees and please remove all ornaments.
