The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls wrestling team finished the pre-Christmas part of their schedule at the Buccaneer dual tournament at East Buchanan in Winthrop. The Golden Hawks finished with a 1-3 dual record. The Hawks got their win over North Polk 48-23. They were beaten by Mount Vernon 42-30, the home Bucs 48-18 and Osage 72-12. Top individual Golden Hawks included 3-1 days for Austyn Sexton and Ellie Callahan each with a pair of pins. Layken Lee was 2-2 with two pins and Etta Bell 2-2 recording a fall.
