The Washington County Sheriff’s Search and Recovery Dive Team has been awarded a $65,000 grant from the Washington County Riverboat Foundation.

This grant will fund training and supplies for new divers. The training and supplies will help increase the effectiveness of recovery operations in Washington County and neighboring communities.

In 2025 WCRF awarded 15 spring grants, 19 fall grants, 8 municipal, and 4 surprise grants totaling $6,466,279. Since 2006 WCRF has awarded over $76 million to local communities and non-profit organizations.
