The Washington girls basketball team was a Monday winner on a long trip, using their long range shooting, to beat Grinnell on the road 53-41. The Demons got the job done shooting 36% from the floor as a team and 50% from downtown, knocking down 10 three pointers. Washington pulled in 29 rebounds with 14 steals, 11 assists and committed 18 turnovers. A Demon trio got to double figures led by a 19 point, eight steal night for Adalyn Long. Addison Miller and Ashlynn Long each scored 10. Leighton Messinger led with nine boards and Reagan Miller had four assists. The Demons improve to 4-2 with the win while Grinnell drops to 1-4.
