Holiday music will be ringing out in Washington with multiple holiday concerts taking place.
On Thursday, December 18th, at 7 p.m. the high school band and Tiny Crescendos’ Holiday Show will be taking place in the Washington High School Auditorium. The cost is $5 per person, students can attend for free.
High School Band Director Don Hughes shares what the audience can expect from the performance, “This performance is not really a concert, it’s more of a show. The band is certainly center in playing all of the music, but we have skits and costumed performers, and special lighting and stuff that we wouldn’t have in a normal concert. The idea is to take something that would be normal and turn it into something fun and crazy and have as much of a good time as we can have.”
On December 22nd the middle school band will take the stage at 6:30 p.m. and the middle school choir will perform at 7:30 p.m.
