The Community Foundation of Washington County hosted their annual fundraiser dinner and dessert auction on November 10th. 

The dinner was held at Wooden Wheel Winery and the meal was prepared by Café Dodici of Washington. Guest speakers during the evening  were Jackie Arreola, Sonia Leyva and Jake Engle from Latinos for Washington. 

Guests raised over $12,000 in an auction of donated desserts from county businesses and individuals. Proceeds from the auction will be divided between the Community Foundation of Washington County and the Latinos for Washington group. The money will assist with their work in offering free citizenship classes to area residents seeking US citizenship and providing local scholarships.

The Community Foundation of Washington County works together with individuals, families, and organizations to establish endowment funds that provide permanent support to charitable causes in Washington County.
