The Washington City Council will be discussing potentially changing the hours of operation for City Hall as well as the time that City Council meetings are held during their meeting this evening.

Over the past several months discussions regarding the start time for City Council meetings have been had according to a memo from City Administrator Joe Gaa. During that same time, there have also been discussions with staff about hours of operation at City Hall.

The resolution proposes that the start time for City Council meetings be moved earlier to either 5 p.m. or 5:30 p.m. The resolution also proposes that City Hall open at 7:30 a.m. daily and close at either 4 p.m. or 4:30 p.m. Currently City Hall is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. City Council meetings begin at 6 p.m. the first and third Tuesday of each month.

Also on the agenda is the possible addition of three street lights at the Timber Ridge Subdivision, and considering an IT Services agreement with Impression Computers.

The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. this evening in Washington City Hall.
