The Washington Demon football team put together a winning season in 2025, which has led to them winning plenty of postseason awards. Fifteen members of the Demon football team this fall were named to All-District teams in Class 3A District 4.
Five Demons were First-Team choices including senior Kael Williams. Offensively, Williams was 71 of 122 throwing for 796 yards and four touchdowns. On the ground he racked up 1,137 yards and 17 touchdowns on 142 carries. Averaging eight yards per carry and caught a touchdown. The total rush yards, rushing scores and yards per carry numbers for Williams were top 10 in 3A. Defensively, he finished with 39 tackles, five for loss and three interceptions.
Junior Greyson Hartman was also a First-Teamer and was named District Co-Offensive Line MVP. Hartman was part of a Demon O-line that helped score 31 touchdowns and 249 total points. Defensively, he added 21 tackles, nine for loss and three sacks.
Junior Brady Krantz was a First-Team performer. Krantz posted 33 tackles, 18 for loss and six sacks on the defensive front.
Junior Blaine Rees was a First-Team linebacker. Rees totaled 85 tackles, fifth most in Class 3A, six of them for loss with a sack and a forced fumble.
Junior Nic Stone was a First-Team selection. On defense he accounted for 10 tackles and three interceptions. Offensively, Stone was four of seven passing for 118 yards and a throwing score. He also ran for a pair of touchdowns.
Second-Team selections included senior Rudy Wolfe. He was a member of the Demon offensive line that led the way to 25 points per game. Defensively, Wolfe finished with 25 tackles, eight for loss and recovered a fumble.
Senior Gatlin Nash was a Second-Teamer. He was a member of the Demon O-line that paved the way for 2,621 total yards on the season.
Senior Caden Greiner was a Second-Team pick. On offense, Greiner had 35 carries for 207 yards and three touchdowns, while catching three passes for 92 yards. Defensively, he finished with 34 tackles, two for loss and a pair of picks.
Sophomore Liam Roberts made Second-Team. Roberts had 25 tackles and two interceptions for the Demon defense with 12 catches, 265 yards and three scores on offense. On special teams Roberts accounted for nearly 250 yards on 32 kick returns.
Sophomore Clayton Evans was awarded Second-Team. Evans had 75 tackles, six for loss, an interception and forced a fumble. Offensively, he carried the ball 27 times for 90 yards.
Five Washington players were Honorable Mention honorees including senior Nerick Raymundo. He was part of a Washington offensive line that cleared the way for the Demons to average 300 yards per game. On defense, Raymundo had 10 tackles, five for loss and three sacks. Senior Grant Whisler had 29 carries 104 yards and a pair of rushing scores. Senior Aidan Schmitz made 24 catches with 42 yards on offense and 18 tackles on defense. Senior Carson Brown finished with 14 catches for 130 yards, 13 carries for 59 yards and 10 tackles, two for loss and a fumble recovery. The late Carson Ryan, Demon senior, had a kick return score, a 33 yard per return average and a fumble recovery.
Washington finished the season with a 5-4 overall record.
