Washington lineman Greyson Hartman spent this fall controlling the trenches. The Demon junior was named Co-Offensive Line Most Valuable Player by the coaches of Class 3A District 4. Hartman was an anchor for the Washington big boys up front that helped the offense to 31 touchdowns, 2,621 total yards, 1,691 on the ground. The Demons posted 249 total points this year, averaging 25 per night. Washington finished in the top 10 of Class 3A in six different offensive categories.
Along with his work on offense, Hartman finished with 21 tackles, nine for loss and three sacks on defense. Hartman shared the MVP award with Carter Myers of Mt. Pleasant. The Demons finished the season with a 5-4 overall record.
