
A man arrested in Washington County had felony burglary warrants in Johnson County.
On Monday, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office received a report from Johnson County that an individual being held in the Washington County Jail had multiple warrants in Johnson County. Forty-five year old Brandon Feickert of Cedar Rapids had been arrested in Washington County on a traffic violation of driving on a suspended license.
The charges in Johnson County include third degree burglary, a class D felony, third degree theft and criminal mischief, and possession of burglar’s tools, all aggravated misdemeanors. According to court records, on July 24th, Iowa River Outdoors in Swisher was allegedly burglarized by Feickert. It is noted that seven fishing reels and two compound bows were taken from the store. Cell phone data showed Feickert in the vicinity when the crime occurred, and four of the stolen fishing reels were pawned in a Cedar Rapids store by Feickert on July 31st.
Feickert also has forgery or burglary charges in Linn, Tama, and Iowa counties. A trial date has yet to be set in Johnson County.
