An opportunity for youth to learn new skills is returning this winter.

The Washington County 4-H Project Extravaganza days are an opportunity for 4-H members to take part in hands-on learning, creating, and fun with other 4-H members under leadership of community businesses, experts, and volunteers.

The majority of workshops are open to any 4-H members in 4th grade and older. Online pre-registration for these workshops is required by November 28th as space is limited for some workshops and filled on a first come, first serve basis. Youth are encouraged to participate and learn through these hands-on experiences to boost knowledge and spark new project interests. Workshops include, Introduction to Welding at Kirkwood Regional Center in Washington, Sewing Service Workshop: Hats for Heroes, Fresh Florals to Framed Art, Auto 101: Tires to Tune-Ups, and Paint Winter Magic.

The fees for service will be used to offset direct expenses and to support the Washington County 4-H Youth Development Program.
