A 19-year-old Mt. Pleasant man has plead guilty to lascivious acts with a child, a class D felony. 

A jury trial was held on November 4th for Kyle Wyatt. Wyatt was also charged with indecent exposure, a serious misdemeanor. He was arrested in June. According to the Henry County Sheriff’s Department, an investigation was conducted after receiving a report of a possible sexual assault that occurred on May 10th. In July, a plea of not guilty was filed. 

Wyatt’s sentencing hearing will be held on December 15th in the Henry County Courthouse. He’s being held at the Henry County Jail.
