Funeral services for 86-year-old Edward “Ed” J. Whitmire of Kalona will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 14th at the Peterseim Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Sharon Hill Cemetery in Kalona with full military honors. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Thursday, November 13th at the Peterseim Funeral Home. A memorial has been established for AM Vets in Richmond.
