This week’s KCII Area Athlete of the Week is Mid-Prairie junior cross country runner Brooklyn Stutzman. She was part of the Mid-Prairie Girls River Valley Conference team Championship, the state qualifier meet individual champion, part of a Golden Hawk team that finished 9th at the Class 2A State meet last weekend and earned recognition on the Class 2A All-State team with her 7th place performance in Fort Dodge, the highest individual finish among area athletes at State. Congratulations Brooklyn!
