A Washington man’s trial is set following a reckless driving incident that took place in August on Highway 1. 

Kevin Pape was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon after allegedly intentionally driving his car into a truck on Highway 1.The incident happened on August 10th. According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the collision occurred in the 2700 block of Highway 1, about three miles south of Washington. Authorities charged 28-year-old Pape with assault with a dangerous weapon vehicle without injury, careless driving, and reckless driving. 

Pape waived his preliminary hearing that had been scheduled for October 10th, his arraignment has been set for November 19th.
