Hospice of Washington County is hosting a new Jigsaw Jam fundraiser this Friday.

On Friday, October 17th, at Dallmeyer Hall on the Washington County Fairgrounds, from 6:30 to 9 p.m., teams will compete to complete a puzzle first for a chance to win prizes.

KCII spoke with Tiffany Crawford to learn why Hospice of Washington County is hosting this fundraiser, “So, Hospice of Washington County is a non-profit, meaning our patients will never see a bill from us. So we do fundraisers like Jigsaw Jam to help offset the cost for patients who may be underinsured, or not insured. Our patients will never see a bill from us.”

Teams of up to six players can register for $125, and should bring their own six-pack beverage of their choice. Pizza and a puzzle will be provided. The challenge is to be the first team to complete a 500 piece puzzle. Prizes will be awarded to the first and second place teams. All proceeds raised will go towards the continued operations of Hospice of Washington County. The deadline to register for this event is October 16th.
