The Kirkwood Washington County Regional Center is preparing to hold their second leadership council meeting.

This meeting is part of an ongoing collaborative initiative, with the goal of bringing together key stakeholders to discuss Kirkwood’s contributions to the community. During the meeting, the Regional Center will share insights on new opportunities, college statistics, workforce development trends, economic impact, and more. They also want to hear from community members on perspectives on education, training, and workforce needs within Washington County.

One part of the Regional Center’s impact on the local community is the cost-savings that students saw in the last school year, with $1.1-million saved with 5,131 credit hours. The first meeting of the Leadership Council was held in January of this year.
