The annual Bike-A-Thon at Lincoln Elementary School in Washington will be held today. 

Each year the fundraiser is held for the school. Students will be riding their bikes around the block the school sits on. Lincoln Elementary Principal Olivia Foglesong shares the excitement that the Bike-A-Thon brings to the school, “The kids love it, it is the best morning. All throughout the year, a lot of the kids are like yes, that’s my favorite thing about Lincoln is Bike-A-Thon. It is always awesome.” 

This long-time event has been organized by the Lincoln Parent Teacher Group for students to collect monetary donations for school and student needs. 

The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 11:15, so drivers should be aware of the area around Lincoln Elementary.
