
The temperature was just two degrees below a record high in Washington this weekend.
According to the National Weather Service of the Quad Cities, Washington’s high temperature on Sunday was 97 degrees. The record high temperature for September 14th was set in 1939 with a high of 99 degrees. The record low temperature was set in 2014 at 37 degrees.
Currently we are below the normal amount of precipitation for the year with just under 26 inches observed. The normal average rainfall total is 29 inches by this date on the calendar.
