Monday night, the Keota Eagle volleyball team roared back for a four set win over Highland. The Eagles won the match by scores of 22-25, 25-14, 25-22 and 25-20. Individual leaders for the Eagles included Jaylah Redlinger with 15 assists, eight for Cameron Haifley. Elyse Lyle with six kills, five each for Redlinger, Olivia Lyle and Kennedy Jackson. Defensively, 12 digs for Addison Purkeypile and 11 for Haifley with five aces for Kaylee Kindred and three each for Elyse Lyle and Reese Conrad. For the Huskies, Ava Sexton had nine assists and seven for Adisyn Prottsman. Five kills each for Katelyn Thomann and Sexton. Emersyn Schultz led the defense with 15 digs, Kamryn Fink had nine. Fink and Brena Hazelett added three blocks each and Hazelett and Prottsman two aces apiece. Keota was 4-2 after the win, while the Huskies dropped to 2-6.
