The KCII Big Red Radio will be joining the Washington Chamber of Commerce as they celebrate their 36th Annual Fall Craft Fair this Saturday, September 6th, in and around the Washington Central Park.
With over 150 vendors and multiple food trucks, the event aims to attract people with a variety of interests. Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Michelle Redlinger presented a change to the Washington City Council at a recent meeting, needing more space for vendors, “So our current park allows for 130 10×10 booths, and we are excited to announce that they are full weeks away from the event, which is the first time that we’ve had that capacity. We’ve been doing the craft fair in the fall for 36 years in Washington. And last year, we worked with some people to help track visitors to the area; it brought almost 5,000 visitors to the community on that day.”
The KCII Big Red Radio will be broadcasting live from the event from 9 to 11:30 a.m. The Craft Fair begins at 9 a.m. and goes until 3 p.m.
