
The Washington County Board of Supervisors renewed the contract with WEMIGA Waste for the county rural solid waste and recycling center.
The four-year contract consists of the county paying $13,832 per month for WEMIGA to operate the center located at 2170 Lexington Boulevard. The center is open to county residents for disposal of household waste and recycling Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 7 a.m. to noon.
This contract between the county and WEMIGA has been the same for the last eight years.
