Flood warnings continue in the KCII-listening area following heavy weekend rainfall. The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities states minor flooding is forecast for the North Skunk River in Sigourney with a warning in place until Wednesday afternoon. Flood stage there is 16 feet and water is expected to crest at approximately 17.6 feet. At 16 feet, water levels impact agricultural land, some county roads, and some farm houses.

The English River at Kalona was at 14.6 feet on Monday morning while flood stage there is 14 feet. The river crested Monday and water is receding. 

The flood warning for the Iowa River at Marengo is in effect through Monday with minor flooding forecast. The flood stage there is 15 feet and on Monday water had reached 15.5 feet. The NWS states the river is expected to crest at 16.3 feet on Friday and then fall below flood stage on Sunday. Water is several feet deep in some places and affects agricultural land along the river.
