A Keota man was arrested for eluding after fleeing from law enforcement. Authorities arrested 44-year old Joshua Lynam. He’s charged with eluding and driving while license suspended times nine. 

According to the Washington Police Department, at 5:07 p.m. Thursday an officer attempted to stop a vehicle at North Marion and West 18th Street. The vehicle pursuit ensued. The driver then fled on foot near 1945 Nutmeg Avenue, approximately 6.5 miles north of Washington. 

Lynam was located and taken to the Washington County Jail.
