The Washington Demons had another solid spring of girls’ soccer, finishing with a winning record for the third time in the last four years, and five players who helped them achieve that success received all-conference honors in the Southeast Conference.
That includes junior Angeline Anderson, who scored a team-high nine goals and tied for the team lead with four assists. Junior Jocci Carter scored six times for Washington and also makes the first team, while junior Isobel Murphy receives an all-conference nod after starting every game on the defensive back line.
Honorable mentions go to seniors Ana Mata and Maya Murphy, who helped lead the Demons to a 9-8 record. Academic all-conference honorees for Washington included Anderson, Carter, Maya Bruty, Amerie Cuevas, Aleigha Medley, Katherine Flannery, Peggy Miller, Zully Aranda Terrones and Isobel and Maya Murphy.
