The Washington County Fair is hosting a free Kickoff Concert this Saturday.

Washington Fair Board member Laura Huber shares more about the event,  “It will start off Saturday night with our free kick-off concert featuring Aces & Eights band.” 

Aces & Eights is a cover band that started several years ago playing at private parties and in people’s basements. They have grown to be a prominent ensemble in southeast Iowa, playing at events including Flightline Live, and the National Cattle Congress in Waterloo. Matt Greiner was one of the founding members of the band whose current lineup includes Washington County Hospital and Clinics CEO Todd Patterson, KCII General Manager Joe Nichols, Heather Greiner, and John Woodward.

Head to the Washington County Fair grounds from 7–10 p.m. for the free concert. There will be a beer garden and concessions available for purchase.
