The Hillcrest Academy Raven baseball and softball teams continue their busy stretch this evening with games against teams from the South Division of the Southeast Iowa Superconference. The Raven baseball team will entertain Burlington Notre Dame. Hillcrest is 10-6 on the year and 9-2 in the North Division after an 8-6 win over Highland Wednesday in Kalona that moved them into first place. On the year, the Ravens hit .256 as a team with a .378OBP, .323 slug, 105 runs, 102 hits, 79RBI, 64 walks and 114 strikeouts. Mason Helmuth is the team leader at .333 with 16 hits and 15RBI. Rowan Miller and Mason Bender have each scored 15 times. On the mound, the Raven staff ERA is 2.80 with a 1.08WHIP and .204 opponent average on 73 hits, 39 earned runs, 32 walks and 83 strikeouts. Phoenix Anderson and Seth Ours are a combined 7-1 with a 1.05ERA.

Burlington Notre Dame is 11-8 this year, the Nikes are 7-3, second in the South Division, coming off of a 3-1 loss to Roland Story Wednesday in Waterloo. The Nikes hit .331 as a team with a .464OBP and .415 slug with 127 runs, 137 hits, 96RBI, 82 walks and 66 strikeouts. Landry Haberichter is the leader with a .468 average, 22 hits and 21 runs scored. Eli Oleson has driven in 28. On the mound, the Nike ERA is 3.93 as a staff with a 1.84WHIP and .199 opponent average on 107 hits, 61 earned runs, 93 walks and 121 strikeouts. Payne Prottsman leads with a 5-1 record. Notre Dame has won four straight in the series. Action starts tonight at 5:30 in Kalona.

The Hillcrest Academy girls are 10-11 this year, 6-9 in the North after falling to Highland Wednesday in Kalona. This year the Ravens hit .305 as a team with a .434OBP and .379 slug on 150 runs, 156 hits, 107RBI, 101 walks and 156 strikeouts. Individually, Malia Yoder is the leader at .581 with 36 total hits. Delaney Shaw has 23 RBI and Morgyn Nafziger 25 runs scored. In the circle, Yoder and Ella Mize has a 3.97ERA with a 1.86WHIP, 2.36 opponent average, 149 hits, 66 earned runs, 67 walks and 115 strikeouts.

Holy Trinity Catholic is 14-7 this year, 6-5 in the South after beating Van Buren 4-3 Tuesday. The Crusaders hit .354 as a team with a .433OBP and .481 slug on 169 runs, 201 hits, 140RBI, 73 walks and 94 strikeouts. Sydney Jarvis is hitting .609 on the season with 42 total hits and 43RBI, Alivia Holmes has scored 25 times. In the circle, Jarvis is 11-5 with a 2.88ERA, 1.36WHIP, .202 average, 89 hits, 40 earned runs, 40 walks and 118 strikeouts in 100 innings.
