4-H junior members participated in two days of activities during the annual regional camp that was held on June 10 and 11 at Crooked Creek Christian Camp in rural Washington. ISU Extension and Outreach team Region 19 which includes Iowa, Johnson, Keokuk and Washington Counties, worked together to offer this camping experience to their 4th through 6th grade members. 

There were 60 campers and 16 high school counselors who enjoyed a variety of activities, including canoeing, fishing, swimming, henna, minute to win-it games, cabin team challenges, archery, dancing, and more. Special guest presenters included the Bows & Bullets 4-H Club for archery demonstration and lessons. Seth Adam from Washington County Conservation with a snake lesson, and Maya Hazelett from ISU Extension and Outreach/Iowa 4-H with a cover crop lesson.
