The Washington City Council will hear special event requests from Lincoln Upper Elementary for their Bike-a-thon on September 19th, and Main Street Washington for Main Street Masters to be held on July 26th. They will also be considering the approval of the site plan for the new PAWS and More Animal Shelter, to be constructed on Buchanan. Council will also be setting the salaries for the appointed officers and city employees for the fiscal year, with a proposal of 3% for Maintenance and Construction, and by personal evaluations for other departments. 

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. in the council chambers in Washington City Hall.
