The track at Case Field in Washington is being resurfaced. Due to the work, the track was closed last week while the new surface is applied. The new surface was applied Monday and carried over into Tuesday, and needed the rest of the week to cure. 

The Washington School District outlines that the upgrade will provide a more comfortable surface for walking and running, and officials thank the community for their patience while the facility improvement takes place. 

Due to some weather delays, the track will reopen to the public for walking and running on Wednesday, June 11th, with painting going to take place at a later date.
