The search for the next principal at Keota School District is underway. The District announced the process is underway to select the next principal for grades 7 through 12. The deadline for the position closed on May 28th and 15 applications were received.

Four finalists were selected after a review of credentials and references. Interviews were held Tuesday. 

The District anticipates announcing a new principal shortly. The candidate will begin the role on July 1st. 

The position became open in early May when a resignation and settlement for the former superintendent who also served as principal was unanimously approved by the school board.
