The track at Case Field in Washington is getting a facelift. The track is being resurfaced. Due to the work, the track is closed this week while the new surface is applied. The new surface was applied Monday and carried over into Tuesday, and will need the rest of the week to cure.

The Washington School District outlines that the upgrade will provide a more comfortable surface for walking and running, and officials thank the community for their patience while the facility improvement takes place. 

The track will reopen to the public for walking and running on Tuesday, June 10th.
