Washington Demon baseball would not have the same luck as their season-opening victory last night, falling in their home opener to Muscatine 8-1.

Washington allowed five runs in the first inning and could never recover, with their only run of the night coming in the sixth. At 1-1, the Demons will try to bounce back when they next play Friday against Solon.
