There is a boil order in effect for all citizens in Oakville who live on the east side of 2nd Street, to include the new addition. This order will be in effect until further notice. Residents in this area are advised to boil water before use or consumption. 

According to Oakville City Hall, the boil order is precautionary while crews work to repair a leak that was discovered on one of the water lines.
