The first Washington Farmers Market and Thursday Night Live of the season kicks off tonight. 

The farmers market begins at 5 p.m. and features local vendors who have either grown, baked, or produced their goods. This week at the market there will be three food truck options: Stone Wall Brick Oven Pizza, Sweet ‘n Saucy BBQ and Catering, and DeLovely’s Delicious Donuts. The Farm Fables book giveaway is sponsored by Washington County Hospital and Clinics. 

Beginning at 5:30 p.m., performers will take the stage for Thursday Night Live. This week’s performers are the Sunrise Singers from Lincoln Elementary, and DeVox, Washington Middle School’s auditioned choir. They’ll join forces with the Sunrise Singers for a special closing song, “I Lived.” The Starlets, the high school’s soprano/alto a cappella group known for their pop hits and powerful vocals, and Jewell Studio presents Adrian Green.
