The top golfers in the Southeast Iowa Superconference come together at Flint Hills in Burlington today for the girls SEISC Championship meet. Six local teams from the KCII listening area will be in action.

Hillcrest Academy has an 0-11 mark this year. The Ravens hold a team average of 259 on nine and 506 on 18, led individually by Ava Miller’s 60 on nine and Claire Withrow’s 116 on 18. They were 11th of 15 teams at this event last year with a 573, led by Withrow’s 126 in 33rd place.

Highland is 24-1 this season. The Huskies hold a team average of 198 on nine and 379 on 18, led individually by Adisyn Prottsman’s 43 on nine and Emersyn Schultz 85 on 18. Last year the Huskies won the conference title by two shots over New London with a 380, led by Prottsman’s third place 91.

Lone Tree is 0-6 this year. Rylie Viers is the only Lady Lion on the roster, checking in with a 74 average on nine and 145 average on 18.

Columbus is 11-6 this season. The Wildcats have a 249 team average on nine and 425 average on 18. Individual leaders are Lily Coil at 54 on nine and Kinlee Brown at 102 on 18. The ‘Cats were fifth at this event last year at 467 with Hailey Wellington in 12th with a 105 to lead.

Winfield-Mt. Union has a 5-9 overall record this season with a team average of 229 on nine and 474 on 18, led individually by Ashlyn Bender’s 52 on nine and 107 on 18. Last year, the Lady Wolves were ninth at 535, led by Lily Freeman in 20th at 110.

WACO is at 1-6 this year. The Warriors shoot a team average 265 on nine. This will be their first 18-hole event of the year. Individually, Morgan Meyer’s 56 is best on the team. WACO was 12th here last year as a team with a 593.

These teams will be joined today by New London, Louisa-Muscatine, Van Buren, Holy Trinity Catholic, Wapello, Mediapolis, Central Lee, Burlington Notre Dame and Davnille. Action starts at 9:30 and continues all day in Burlington.
