It’s a pair of road trips in opposite directions Monday for the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk soccer teams. The girls travel west to Williamsburg. The Hawks are 4-7-3 this year after a 2-0 win at Northeast Goose Lake Friday that snapped a seven-match winless streak. Mid-Prairie got the win on the strength of a pair of Meadow Flynn goals on two Lydia Beachy assists and a five save clean sheet from Niva Helmuth. This year the Hawks have been outscored 28-22 in total with 107 shots on goal, 47 corner kicks, 11 assists and an 83% team save percentage. Individually, Flynn has the team lead with eight goals, Beachy is best with four assists and Helmuth has 116 saves.

Williamsburg is 2-11-1 this year after a 4-1 loss Saturday morning to West Liberty. On the year, the Raiders have been outscored 52-13 in total. The Raiders have won four straight in this series including a 2-1 victory in Wellman last year. The match starts at 5p.m. At Bob Murphy Stadium.

The Mid-Prairie boys are 1-11-1 this year after a 3-0 loss at Prince of Peace Friday. This year the Hawks have been outscored 62-8 with 60 shots on goal, 24 corner kicks, four assists and a 71% team save percentage. Individually, Kale Miller is the leader with three goals, Peyton Fox, Will Snider, Ty Huber and Adrian Sanchez Reyes each have an assist and in goal, Mac Yoder has made 68 saves.

Cascade is 2-8 this season, coming off of a 10-0 loss to Regina last time out. This year the Cougars have been outscored 41-16 with 68 shots on goal, 20 corner kicks, 14 assists and a 78% team save percentage. Individually, Marlon Ortiz has scored seven times, Spencer Boge has four assists and Troy Lehman has 102 saves. Mid-Prairie has won four straight over Cascade including 3-2 last year.
