The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls golf team is back on the course in Kalona tonight against the Durant Wildcats. The Hawks are 38-5 this year after a second place finish at the River Valley Conference Championship meet in Muscatine Wednesday, where they shot 389 as a team led by Morgyn Bender’s 93 and Bender, Addison English, Olivia Swartzentruber and Lilly Miller were named All-Conference. This year, the Hawks have a 188 average on nine and 393 average on 18 as a team, led individually by Bender and English at 45 each on nine and Bender’s 92 on 18.

Durant is 39-9 this year. They finished third of eight teams at Friday’s Tigerette Invitational at Tipton with a 403 team score on 18, led by Lauren Callison’s 92. This year, the Wildcats have a team average of 210 on nine and 404 on 18, led by Callison’s 48 on nine and 91 on 18. The Golden Hawks have won three straight in the series including a 188-212 victory in this dual at Durant last year. Action starts tonight at 4p.m. At the Kalona Golf Course.
