The Sigourney Savages had a busy week of girls’ golf. That include playing Tuesday in the Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont Invitational at Oskaloosa Public Golf. Freshman Ella Bruns led Sigourney by shooting an 11-over-par 47 over nine holes, while sophomore Adalynne Tremmel fired a 51 and senior Reagan Clarahan was only stroke behind her.

Senior Hannah Hanselman added a 53 for the Savages, while junior Kayla Renner carded a 54. Sigourney would play again the next day and would win an 18-hole dual with Eddyville at Brooklyn-Victor Country Club.

Tremmel led the way this time with a 16-over 88, while freshman Ella Fineran shot a 94 for the Savages, who are now preparing for this year’s South Iowa Cedar League Tournament on Monday back at Oskaloosa.
