Two local boys golf teams took over Lagos Acres in Keota Thursday with the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks edging out the Keota Eagles for a 161-165 win. The Hawks saw Ace Peck post the round of the day, firing a 37 for meet medalist honors. Other Mid-Prairie scores included Clayton Davidson 40, Bryce Henry and Hudson Ehrenfelt 42, Denver Nelson 44 and Grayson Gingerich 46.

For the Eagles Billie Kindred and Brennan McGuire went low at 38 each to be medalist runners-up. Other Keota cards included Porter Cave 44, Tucker Sprouse 45, Jack Owens 46 and Cooper Strand 53. Mid-Prairie is now 42-16 going into sectionals next week. Keota stands at 28-10.
