
The Southeast Iowa Superconference boys golf championships are today at Heritage Oaks Golf and Country Club near Wapello. Six teams from the KCII listening area will be involved. The Hillcrest Academy Ravens come into the day with an 11-1 overall record. The Ravens have a 169 average on nine and 330 average on 18 this year, led by Liam Schrock’s 37 on nine and 73 on 18.
Highland is 0-17 this season. The Huskies have a 237 average on nine and 480 average score on 18 with Issac Giesemann at 56 on nine and 112 on 18 to lead.
Lone Tree is 4-13 this season. The Lions have a 206 average for nine and have not played an 18 hole event as a team. Their top scorer is Jack Patterson with a 49 average.
Columbus stands at 5-18 overall. The Wildcat team average is 240 on nine and 466 on 18, led by Ryan Coil’s 55 on nine and Kason Dopler’s 95 on 18.
Winfield-Mt. Union is 21-7 this year. The Wolves average 166 on nine and 340 on 18 as a team led by Justin Knipfer’s 41 on nine and 82 on 18.
WACO stands at 1-9 overall. The Warrior’s team scoring average is 220 on nine. This is their first 18 hole event of the year. Individually, Ian Maize and Malachi Rinner both average 49s.
These teams will be joined today by Burlington Notre Dame, Central Lee, Danville, Holy Trinity Catholic, Louisa-Muscatine, Mediapolis, New London, Van Buren and Wapello. Action starts at 9:30a.m. And continues all day at Heritage Oaks.
