Washington Demon boys’ golf hosted the Washington Boys’ Invitational at Blue Top Ridge Golf Course in Riverside yesterday, and the Demons finished in sixth place as a team, posting a combined score of 334 strokes that was 26 more than the winners from Waverly-Shell Rock.

Senior Cole Vetter and juniors Drew Conrad and Carson Brown each finished with a 10-over-par 82 to lead Washington, while senior Conner Leyden shot an 88 and freshman Tate Greiner added a 97. The Demons now gear up to host the annual Southeast Conference Tournament tomorrow at Washington Golf & Country Club.
