Lone Tree and Sigourney students will be dressing their best today to celebrate a high school milestone with their Junior/Senior Proms being held.  

The theme for this year’s Sigourney prom is Time to Shine. The doors for the grand march will be opening at 6:30 p.m. with the students making their way down the runway at 7:30 in the big gym. At 11:15 p.m., students will be bused to Penn Central Mall in Oskaloosa for Post Prom. There, they will be able to participate in a number of activities. Post Prom runs from midnight to 4 a.m. Sigourney students will then return to the school and end the celebration with prizes.  

The theme for Lone Tree’s Prom is Starry Night. All festivities will be held at the school, beginning with Grand March at 7:45 p.m. and class pictures at 8:15. Doors will open for family and friends at 7. Following pictures, the dance takes place from 8:30-11.

When the dancing has wrapped up, Lone Tree juniors and seniors will take part in Post Prom. This will be in the south gym, as well as other locations throughout the school, and includes laser tag, a hypnotist, inflatables, along with prizes for all students in attendance.
