The Highland Huskies rolled to a dominant 10-0 win over Wapello in boys’ soccer Thursday, scoring all of their goals in the first half to end the match early.

Two stellar goal-scoring efforts led the way for Highland, as senior Jared Diaz and sophomore Jose Ramirez each had hat tricks plus one by scoring four goals. Seniors Logan McFarland and Angel Avendano also each found the back of the net, with senior Jaydee Macareno dishing out three assists.

Diaz, McFarland, Avendano and sophomore Hunter Seibel all had an assist as well, while senior goalkeeper Ayden Havel made five saves in his third shutout of the spring. The Huskies remain undefeated after improving to 4-0 and will next play another conference rival in Columbus later today.
