An Oklahoma man was arrested on rape charges in Brighton on Tuesday. According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, at 5:55 p.m. authorities went to the 100 block of East Main Street in Brighton and arrested 41-year-old Raymond Lynn Eidson of Marietta, Oklahoma. 

Eidson was wanted out of Marshall County, Oklahoma. He had warrants out for his arrest on multiple offenses including rape in the 1st degree, rape by instrumentation, and enticing a child under 16-years old into a secluded place.

Eidson was arrested and taken to the Washington County Jail.

Bond was set at $150,000.
