The Highland Huskies are still unbeaten in soccer after they defeated Sigourney-Keota 4-0 Tuesday night in Riverside. Highland already had a 3-0 lead by the time halftime arrived and would control the match going forward.

Sage Hartley-Norman scored two goals on three total shots for the Huskies, while fellow senior Jaydee Macareno converted a penalty kick. Sophomore Jose Ramirez added his first goal of the season and senior keeper Ayden Havel made five saves in his second shutout already this spring.

The 3-0 Huskies look to stay perfect when they next play later today at Wapello, while winless SK looks to turn things around against Central Lee tomorrow night.

The WACO Warriors came just short of their third win of the season, losing 3-2 at Central Lee Tuesday. Despite goals from juniors Tristan Luitjens and Niles Reichenbach, WACO did no better than a tie game at halftime and a one-score final.

At 2-2 overall and 1-1 in the Southeast Iowa Super Conference, the Warriors will look to avoid stretching their losing skid to three matches in a row when they meet Hillcrest Academy this evening.
