Firefighters responded to a house in Washington on Tuesday at the corner of East Main Street and 11th Avenue. At 8:30 p.m. emergency crews were seen responding to a single-family two-story house at 1026 East Main Street. KCII News observed firefighters entering the home, and windows on the second floor were opened. Fire trucks from the Washington Fire Department were on scene, along with officers from the Washington Police Department. 

The intersection was closed for some time while emergency crews worked at the scene.
