A big year on the court for the Hillcrest Academy Raven boys basketball team was led by some impressive numbers.
As a team, Hillcrest ranked among the top 10 of Class 1A in four different stats. The Ravens hung their hats on efficiency. They were third in the state, shooting 51% from the floor as a team, their 432 team assists were eighth most in 1A, they finished with a 1.80 assist to turnover ratio, ninth best and their 9.6 turnovers per game were 10th fewest in 1A.
Individually, Rowan Miller was the best helper on the team, finishing with 156 assists, fourth most in Class 1A and 6.5 assists per game, fifth most. Kale Bailey was the top Hillcrest sharpshooter, going 62% from the field for the year, 10th best in Class 1A.
Hillcrest ended their season with a 21-4 overall record.
